"Flipping The CORE Academy"

Join CORE partner school systems and JSU faculty for a three day workshop on the campus of JSU. During this three day workshop, we'll learn from other CORE partners who use technology every day in their classes. Local school system teachers, administrators, and presenters will present about technology in the classroom and practical implementation tips. Bring your iPad, iPhone, or laptop and join us!

August 28th CWRA+ Workshop

By invitation only, Registration in room 1103B, 11th floor of Houston Cole Library at 8:00am

Time: 8:00am-11:30am, lunch provided. Control group teachers dismissed and treatment group teachers may schedule special sessions with technology support and faculty content experts.

Target Audience: Control group and treatment group teachers involved with the i3 grant study.

Purpose: The Council for Aid to Education, an i3 grant partner, will provide hands-on training with the administration of the CWRA+, the assessment tool for the i3 grant study. Also, John Rosier, the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment will provide a protocol for data collection.

August 28th Change Diagnostic Index (CDI)

By invitation only, Registration in room 1103B, 11th floor of Houston Cole Library at 9:30am

Time: 10:00-noon, lunch provided.

Target: Audience: Superintendents and principals who have teachers enrolled in the i3 grant study.

Purpose: Pivot Point, an i3 grant partner, will provide an overview and training on the Change Diagnostic Index. The CDI is used to measure an organization's level of comfort to change.
